Map & Direction

By Air plane: from Phuket aiport, you can come by airport minibus or by private taxi. For either, go to the service counters at the airport and tell them you are travelling to J & J Inn, Karon beach. The airport minibus costs 180 Baht per person. The airport taxi, quicker and direct, cost 650 baht one way and seats up to 3 adults with luggage. (Please note: some drivers may attempt to take you to another hotel or to a travel agency where they receive a commission. Just politely decline (even if they are insistent) and tell them you have paid reservations and are a regular guest at J & J Inn.) Bus: be sure to embark at the bus terminal in Phuket town. From there you can take a tuk-tuk (about 250 baht) directly to Karon beach. Alternatively, you can take a tuk-tuk to the downtown market (about 15 baht) and from there the local bus to Karon beach (20 baht). Tell the driver to let you off at Luang Poh Chuang Rd. Local busses run about every half hour from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. Boat: the ferry ticket from Phi Phi or Krabi includes transfer to any hotel in the Patong or Kata-Karon area. From the pier take the minibus for Karon beach.
